Home again, home again...

Well, after a relatively productive weekend we're back home. The storm that arrived over the weekend had much more of an impact up here. The plow has created ridiculously huge piles of snow around our yard. If Nora was older, I'm sure she would be outside right now sliding down them, but instead I propped her up against one to give you an idea:

Keep in mind that she isn't even on the ground- I just stuck her into one of the banks. Jenny and Toby: are you sure you want to move here??

Oh wait, that's right, this little one lives here. Of course you want to come live in Maine!! And someday, in the next two months or so, this will all melt away to reveal a beautiful....
Mud pile.

Ahh... Home sweet home! Have a lovely Monday, everyone!

You know, I had a dream last night that I heard the Bangor area had gotten 16" of new snow, and I woke up wondering if that could be true - apparently so! Two months might be a little ambitious for those piles to melt away . . . ;)
